ABOUT CAPSTONE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY
Where Faith Meets Excellence
Founded on the belief that every child is created with purpose, Capstone Christian Academy partners with families to develop World Changing Leaders for Christ.
More Than a School — A Family
Capstone Christian Academy was founded in 2021 by families who envisioned something different for their children — a place where faith isn't compartmentalized but woven throughout every aspect of learning. From day one, Christ has been at the center of everything we do. Our students don't just receive an education; they become part of a Christ-centered community committed to their growth as whole people.
In just a few short years, Capstone has earned recognition as the 2025 Gold Winner for Best Faith-Based School and Best Private School by the Las Vegas Review-Journal. But our greatest achievement isn't measured by awards — it's measured by the lives we're transforming. 100% of our grade cohorts test at or above grade level, a testament to our commitment to academic excellence. With a 12:1 student-teacher ratio, every child is known and loved, ensuring that each student receives the personalized attention they deserve. Here at Capstone, you're not a number — you're family.

FAITH FOUNDATION
Christ at the Center of Everything We Do
Our non-denominational Christian environment is thoughtfully designed to integrate the Gospel throughout our students' learning journey — with grace and intentionality. Faith is not compartmentalized into chapel services or Bible class. Instead, daily prayer, Scripture study, and Christ-centered teaching infuse every subject and interaction.
We believe that faith and academics work together. Through our curriculum, students learn to view subjects like math, science, history, and literature through a biblical lens, discovering God's truth in every discipline. Character development at Capstone is rooted in biblical values, helping students understand what it means to live with integrity, serve others with humility, and pursue excellence as an offering to God.
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.”
— Colossians 3:23

WHAT FAMILIES ARE SAYING
Hear From Our Capstone Family
“Capstone is a fantastic, faith-based school. The small class sizes, the one-on-one attention, and the way everyone—teachers, students, staff—feels like a family… you just won’t get that anywhere else.”

Michael M
2nd Grade Parent from Southern Highlands
“Small class sizes are very important to me. I want my kid to stay connected with his teacher and classmates, and I've been looking for a family-oriented environment. That’s what I feel here.”

Sasha C
Preschool Parent from Silverado Ranch
“You have to come to Capstone Christian. They take care of everything: leadership, morals, ethics, academics — and my daughter jumps out of bed excited for school. You just can’t get this anywhere else.”

DEVELOPING CHARACTER FOR A LIFETIME
Characteristics of a World Changing Leader
At Capstone, we believe leaders aren't born — they're developed. Every student cultivates these nine characteristics, each rooted in Scripture. These aren't abstract ideals; they're lived out daily in classrooms, hallways, and communities. As our students develop these qualities, they're equipped not just to succeed academically, but to become the leaders our world desperately needs.
Excellence
“But since you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in the love we have kindled in you—see that you also excel in this grace of giving.”
— 2 Corinthians 8:7
Courage
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
— Joshua 1:9
Relationships
“Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace... But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it.”
— Ephesians 4:2-3,7
Discernment
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
— Romans 12:2
Community Service
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in...The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’”
— Matthew 25:35,40
Faith
“Now they know that everything you have given me comes from you.”
— John 17:7
Accountability
“Therefore, confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”
— James 5:16
Respect
“Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.”
— Ephesians 4:29
Integrity
“To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.”
— Proverbs 21:3

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Common Questions About Capstone
At Capstone, faith isn't a separate subject — it's the lens through which everything is learned, with the Gospel integrated across every classroom with grace and intentionality. We remain grounded in our non-denominational Christian values, and we welcome families of all faith backgrounds. Many families choose Capstone for the combination of academic excellence, character development, and a nurturing environment alongside our Christian foundation.
Faith shows up in the rhythms of every day — starting with prayer and devotion, continuing through daily Bible class, and running as a thread through core academics where teachers connect curriculum to a Biblical worldview. Weekly chapel, worship, and our Leader in Me character framework shape how students learn, lead, and treat one another throughout the week.
Leader in Me is based on Stephen Covey's 7 Habits framework. It teaches students leadership and life skills starting in the earliest grades — things like being proactive, seeking first to understand, and thinking win-win. These principles are woven into daily life at Capstone.
Capstone currently serves Preschool (ages 3-5) through 7th grade. Expansion to the new Cactus Campus is anticipated to break ground Fall 2026.
