Veronica Hernandez

Kindergarten Teacher

Veronica Hernandez was born and raised in Las Vegas and has been teaching young minds for over 10 years. She was blessed to grow up attending First Baptist Spanish Church, which also offered a K-12th grade schooling program that she attended.

Upon finishing High School, she became an employee at her church’s small private school, working with the 2nd grade classroom. At that time, she didn’t have a clear direction for what career path to take, but she always had a passion for working with young children and helping families. The longer she was in a classroom, the bigger her heart began to grow for the education of young children.

After completing her Associate of Arts degree, she started taking intentional steps to grow professionally and personally as a teacher and completed her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education in 2019.
After working with preschool children for eight years, God opened doors for her to work in different capacities that have all shaped me and taught me different skills, but that have reassured her love for teaching.

Her journey has taught her that teaching young minds to become successful not only academically, but spiritually, and in their character as well it is important to shape future leaders Las Vegas. This is where she truly has felt the Lord’s calling, and she is honored to be teaching Kindergarten at Capstone Christian Academy. She looks forward to building a strong partnership with parents and working alongside them to ensure the individual success of each and every student.
